Chalice Gold

Chalice Gold, headquartered in Perth Western Australia engaged MFW Geoscience Inc. to prepare evaluative work on two Canadian projects. MFW prepared lithological models identifying controls on mineralization. Chalice Gold was provided with high quality Leapfrog Viewer files enabling them to visualize the data in 3D helping them with their evaluation.

UBC course in Hydrogeology

Mike recently completed a third year course at UBC in the Okanagan in Hydrogeology. It was a great fundamentals course and Mike completed in the top 5 of his class.

EESc 342 – Hydrogeology
Introduction to the theory of groundwater flow; flow nets; regional groundwater resource evaluation; well hydraulics; role of groundwater in geologic processes.

Christmas Networking in Vancouver

Mike Waldegger will be in Vancouver this Monday December 19th to meet with current clients and to form new relationships. This is a great opportunity to discuss your company’s need for 3D modelling and resource estimation before the new year is upon us. Contact Mike at (250) 307-1623 for a meeting at your office or location that’s convenient for you. Let’s work together to explore ways in which MFW Geoscience can add value to your projects. The coffee is on us!

Networking Event

Mike Waldegger will be attending Women In Mining’s networking event this Thursday November 10th at Fasken Martineau in Vancouver BC.

Silver Standard Resources

Silver Standard Resources Inc., headquartered in Vancouver, B.C. Canada engaged MFW Geoscience Inc. to complete certain evaluative work for a mineral project. MFW has the relevant experience and skills to provide quick results for companies trying to gain a better understanding on the potential of mineral projects. MFW prepared a lithological model, tonnage and grade estimate and detailed technical memo documenting the study, providing Silver Standard with useful data as part of its evaluation.

Kennady Diamonds … part II

Building on the success from the first bulk sample of the Kelvin kimberlite last year, Kennady Diamonds (KDI) is planning on collecting an additional 500 tonnes to increase the overall sample size. Aurora Geoscience Ltd. (Aurora) out of Yellowknife is the primary contractor for KDI and has sub-contracted Mike Waldegger (MFW Geoscience) to manage the field activities of the RC Bulk Sample drilling program. The bulk sample will be collected using two reverse circulation (RC) drills supplied and operated by Midnight Sun Drilling pictured below.

The Project is located 280 km northeast of Yellowknife, NT in the Slave Craton in northern Canada, less than 10 km to the east of the De Beers Gahcho Kué Diamond Mine. MFW will be in the field implementing logging and sampling procedures, establishing chain of custody of the kimberlite bulk samples, and mentoring junior geologists. The bulk sample will be collected using two large diameter drills and the program is expected to run from the beginning of February to mid-April of 2016.

Willa PEA

MFW Geoscience was awarded the Mineral Resource estimation work on the Willa Property owned by Discovery Ventures. The property is located in south eastern British Columbia near the town of Silverton.

Mineralization at Willa has been explored by a number of companies, mostly since the 1960’s, and most significantly by Northair in the late 1980’s.

The work will include 3D modelling of the deposit geology and gold copper silver mineralization, estimating grades in a 3D block model, and reporting Mineral Resources in a NI 43-101 Technical Report. The model will feed into a Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Kennady North Diamond Project

MFW Geoscience was contracted by Aurora Geoscience Ltd. (Aurora) to manage the large diameter bulk sample drilling program for Kennady Diamonds’ (KDI) 100% owned Kennady North Diamond Project. Aurora is the key contractor managing all aspects of the Kennady North Diamond Project on behalf of KDI who plans to collect 500 to 700 tonnes of kimberlite from the Kelvin Kimberlite to further assess diamond value and grade. The Project is located 280 km northeast of Yellowknife, NT in the Slave Craton in northern Canada, less than 10 km to the east of the De Beers Gahcho Kué Diamond Mine.
